During the India Mobile Congress program, Akash Ambani, while giving information to Prime Minister Modi about Jio’s indigenous technology and products, said that Jio has provided broadband internet services to millions of homes and businesses in India for the first time. With Jio Space Fiber, we are expanding our reach to cover those millions of people and work on this is continuing. According to the company, this one-of-a-kind satellite-based internet service will be available across the country at a very affordable price.

PM Modi inaugurates 5G lab

During this, Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated 100 5G labs. Most of the well-known engineering colleges across the country are included in this. According to a statement issued by the government, the event is set to explore the cutting edge of technological advancements with a clear focus on 5G expansion, preparation for the upcoming 6G, broadcasting, drone device manufacturing, semiconductor production and sustainable technology. Artificial Intelligence (AI) will also be one of the major topics in the event.

Four most inaccessible places connected to Geo Space Fiber

According to the statement issued by the government, the four most remote places of India have been connected by Jio Space Fiber. These include Gir National Park of Gujarat, Korba of Chhattisgarh, Nabarangpur of Odisha and ONGC-Jorhat of Assam. SES company’s satellites will be used to provide broadband connectivity to remote areas through Reliance Jio’s Jio Space Fiber. This means that Jio Space Fiber will now provide reliable multi-gigabit connectivity anywhere and anytime. Jio Space Fiber will use innovative and advanced NGSO technology to deliver satellite-based internet services in challenging areas.
