The life of structures built using traditional methods is quite long.

An engineer associated with JSBCCL and M/s SS Enterprises said that this is a small effort to connect the ancient collections with modernity. Structures built using traditional methods have a much longer life. In contrast, the buildings built just 35-40 years ago using so-called modern technology using RCC are already dilapidated. In such a situation, heritage buildings should be restored to their original form using original materials and construction techniques as much as possible. It involves the use of traditional ingredients and the raw material required as cement is actually superior quality limestone.
