The company has been holding virtual AGM since the time of the Covid pandemic.

The company had made many major technical arrangements so that lakhs of shareholders could participate in the meeting. Special arrangements were also made for the deaf and dumb in the company’s AGM held on video calling app ‘JioMeet’. All the proposals put forward by the company to the shareholders were available in sign language.

Lal Singh Thakur, a blind man, who attended the AGM from Ludhiana city of Punjab state, while sharing his experience, said – Reliance had made wonderful arrangements for the deaf and blind at the AGM. Being a shareholder, I was able to convey my views to the management of the company and that too without any problem.

Reliance Industries spokesperson said that more and more shareholders attending the AGM shows the confidence of the shareholders in the company. Nearly 4 lakh 30 thousand people joining on JioMeet is an achievement not only for the country but also for the world. Our technical teams worked day and night to make this program a success.
