RBI and NIA asked for five acres of land each from HEC for office

Ranchi: RBI and NIA have asked for land from the management for office in HEC residential complex. RBI and NIA have also given proposals for this. In this regard, HEC official said that RBI and NIA have asked for five acres of land each. A proposal for which has been sent to the Ministry of Heavy Industries. From where further action will be taken after getting approval. He said that if the Ministry gives approval to give land on long term lease to HEC, which is going through a serious financial crisis, then HEC can get a lump sum amount of Rs 100 crore. It may be noted that HEC had earlier fixed the price per acre of land at 11.50 acres. It is known that HEC has more than one thousand acres of land lying vacant in the residential complex. On which encroachment is taking place every day and the management is not able to vacate the encroached land due to lack of manpower.

HEC workers protested against punching

Ranchi. To register the attendance of HEC employees, the management re-implemented the punching system from Monday after the Corona period. Which the workers protested against and went inside the plant without punching and came out after the duty was over. In this regard, Bhawan Singh of HEC Bachao Mazdoor Jan Sangharsh Samiti said that the production in all three plants has come to a standstill. At the same time, the management wants to exploit unnecessary workers by not starting production. Workers will protest against the punching system in the plants without starting the canteen and without paying the outstanding salaries. If the management uses force, the workers will gherao the GM of their respective plants.
