RAPIDX Inauguration: Schools and colleges closed in Ghaziabad today, prohibited from going on these roads, know traffic advisory

Ghaziabad News: Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) will inaugurate the priority section of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor at Sahibabad RapidX station in Uttar Pradesh on Friday. He will also flag off the RapidX train connecting Sahibabad to Duhai depot marking the launch of the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) in India. The 17 km long priority section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor that will be inaugurated will connect Sahibabad with ‘Duhai Depot’ along with Ghaziabad, Guldhar and Duhai stations. The Prime Minister had laid the foundation stone of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Corridor on 8 March 2019. This 82 kilometer long project is expected to be completed by June 2025. In the first phase, people will be able to travel from Sahibabad to Duhai. This distance will be covered in just a few minutes. During this period, the Prime Minister will also address a public meeting in Vasundhara. In view of this inauguration ceremony on Friday, Ghaziabad Traffic Police has made special planning. Special guests and the general public will be present at the inauguration ceremony of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS. In view of this, schools and colleges will remain closed in Ghaziabad on Friday. There will be a ban on entry of heavy vehicles throughout the day in Mohan Nagar and Sahibabad. During this period, route diversion has also been done to deal with the problem of traffic jam. Which will be applicable from 7 am till the end of the program.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to launch India’s first rapid rail ‘Namo Bharat’ on Friday on the auspicious occasion of Navratri. For this, the police has made complete security arrangements. Along with the police and Rapid Action Force, all the security personnel are keeping a vigilant guard. Due to this, schools and colleges will remain closed in Ghaziabad on Friday and route diversion has also been done.

Online classes will run on October 20

In view of the Prime Minister’s program on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of RapidX train, private schools of Ghaziabad have been instructed to conduct online classes. District School Inspector Rajesh Shriwas said that in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s program, various routes have been closed and routes have been diverted, due to which students will face a lot of trouble in commuting. Keeping this in mind, all CBSE and ICSE board schools will have online classes on Friday.

Restrictions on movement of vehicles here

Movement of all types of vehicles will be restricted from Hindon Airforce roundabout via Mohannagar towards Sahibabad RapidX station and Jan Sabha. At the same time, there will be a ban on movement of all types of vehicles from Police Station Link Road Red Light towards Sahibabad RapidX Station and Jan Sabha. There will be a ban on movement of all types of vehicles from CISF Road Indirapuram towards Sahibabad RapidX Station and Jan Sabha, except those coming for the Jan Sabha. Similarly, there will be a ban on all types of vehicles except those coming to the public meeting from Sahibabad RapidX station and public meeting via Solar Energy Road.

There will be a ban on heavy vehicles

There will be a ban on movement of all types of heavy and light vehicles on both the lanes between Lalkuan and Seemapuri. All types of vehicles will be banned from Loni to Bhopura, Hindon roundabout, Nagdwar towards Rajnagar Extension and from ALT intersection to Rajnagar Extension, from Bhopura to Loni via Rotary roundabout, Nagdwar. All vehicles coming from Meerut towards Ghaziabad will not be able to go towards Ghaziabad from Duhai Peripheral. There will be a ban on movement of all types of vehicles from Siddharth Vihar Red Light towards Meerut Tiraha.

  • Buses coming from Noida, Vasundhara, Vaishali will stop in parking numbers 7 and 8 near Buddha Chowk via Gaur Green to Kanawani. Light vehicles will park in parking number 6.

  • Buses coming from Hapur, Bulandshahr, Noida will stop in parking number-7 and parking number-8 from Vijayanagar, CISF Road, Indirapuram, Kanavani Pulia. Cars and other light vehicles will park in parking number-6.

  • Small vehicles, cars etc. coming from Ghaziabad city via Hindon Bridge will park in parking number 10 next to Krishna Apartment before Mewar Chowk and parking number 9 next to Amity International School.

  • Buses coming from Baghpat, Loni, Tronica City, Loni Border, Bhopura, Tila Mod, Tulsi Niketan, from Karangate roundabout to Rajendra Nagar metro station, via underpass from Sahibabad railway station cut, in parking number-4 on Solar Energy Road and Cars and light vehicles will park in parking number 3 of the Tata Service Centre.

  • Buses coming from UP Gate, Kaushambi, Link Road, Noida will park in parking number-4 and core and light vehicles will park in parking number-3 on Dabur Tiraha, Thana Link Road Red Light to Solar Urja Marg.

  • Buses coming from Seemapuri side from Rajendra Nagar Metro Station via Sahibabad Railway Station Cut Underpass will park in Parking Number-4 and cars and light vehicles will park in Parking Number-3.
