Ranji Trophy: Jharkhand scored 403 runs in the first innings

On the basis of captain Virat Singh (108) century and Kumar Suraj (83) half-century, Jharkhand scored 403 runs in its first innings against Maharashtra in the Ranji Trophy Elite Group A match being played in Pune. Virat had played 108 run innings for Jharkhand on Friday. Virat hit eight fours and three sixes in his innings. Kumar Suraj also hit 11 fours and one six in his innings. On Saturday, Shahbaz Nadeem scored 41 runs, Rahul Shukla scored 28 runs and Varun scored 29 runs. For Maharashtra, Hiten Walunj scored 91 runs and took six wickets.
