On the occasion of Diwali, a Rangoli and Diya making competition was organized for children at Adarsh Vidya Mandir in Kokar, Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Children have displayed their talent well in the competition.
A lamp making competition was organized among the children of classes one to five. Children made many lamps one after another.
Students made rangoli on different subjects. School Principal Manoj Kumar said that such events give children an opportunity to showcase their talent.
Competitions on different subjects are organized in the school from time to time. Deputy Principal Manish Mishal said that children should also participate in other competitions along with studies.
Children from classes one to five participated in the Diya Making Competition. In this, Nevidita Munda got first place, Hema Kumari got second place and Nidhi Kumari got third place. All three successful participants are students of class five.
In the group competition in Rangoli making, class 10th students stood first and second. Students of class six got third position.
