Ranchi: Ranchi’s yoga expert Dr. Archana Kumari has been honored with Yogini Award. This honor was given in a function organized under the joint aegis of Parmarth Niketan Rishikesh, Uttarakhand and Edu Girl Life. Dr. Subodh Tiwari, Secretary of the Indian Yoga Association, gave this honour. Dr. Archana Kumari was the only candidate from Jharkhand who has been awarded this award.
Let us tell you that this award is a prestigious honor given to women in the field of yoga, which is given to women who have done excellent work in the country and abroad. Apart from the founder of Parmarth Niketan, Swami Chidanand Saraswati, Pujya Sadhvi Bhagwati, founder of Edu Girl Life, many ministers and dignitaries of Uttarakhand were present in the ceremony.
Who is Dr. Archana Kumari?
Dr. Archana Kumari is the daughter of Mr. Lalan Prasad, resident of Argora, Ranchi. He has obtained Masters and PhD degree in Yoga Science from Dev Sanskriti University, Haridwar, Uttarakhand. He is currently working in the Directorate of AYUSH under the Health Department of the Government of Jharkhand. Before this, he has received many awards including gold medal at national and international level in various yoga competitions. Dr. Archana’s three books based on yoga have been published. Let us tell you that she has been associated with the field of yoga for almost 20 years. Apart from propagating yoga, she also works to promote government schemes in urban and rural areas.
