FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifier 2024 It will be organized in Ranchi from 13 to 19 January 2024. Ranchi is fully prepared to host it. All the matches will be played at Jaipal Singh Astroturf Hockey Stadium in Marang Gomke, Ranchi. An MoU has been signed between Jharkhand government and Hockey India on Thursday for this event. MoU between Hockey India and Jharkhand Government
Players of the Indian women’s hockey team were also present at the time of signing of the MoU. On behalf of Jharkhand government, Sports Secretary Manoj Kumar and Sports Director Sushant Gaurav were present on the spot. Hockey India General Secretary Bhola Nath Singh and Hockey India Treasurer Shekhar J Manoharan were present. This is the second consecutive time that a big event of women’s hockey is being organized in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Last year, the Asian Champions Trophy 2023 was successfully organized here. In which India became the champion.

Entry free for spectators
Bhola Nath Singh said that just as entry was free for general spectators during the Asian Champions Trophy 2023, similarly entry will be free in this event too. There will be no tickets of any kind. Yes, admission will be on first come, first served basis. In case the stadium is full, entry will be closed. In such a situation, come early and secure your place. This is an event on which the whole world will have eyes. The first match on January 13 will be played between India and the United States at 7:30 pm.
