From June 15 to 17, the maximum temperature of the capital is continuously crossing 40 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature of the capital was recorded at 40.6 degree Celsius on Saturday. The situation of trahimam has arisen due to power cut in this extreme heat. Due to electricity, people are also going through water crisis. Due to this problem, the people of Kokar came on the road on Saturday evening. Koker started picketing in front of the electricity office. Some people also sat in front of the Executive Engineer’s office. The Kokar-Lalpur road remained blocked for 45 minutes as women, teenagers and children sat on the road. There was a queue of vehicles on both sides of the road, due to which the traffic came to a complete standstill.

The people involved in the demonstration said that electricity connection has been given inside the locality, but there are poles without wires in many places. There is a transformer, but its capacity is very less. In such a situation, there is constant low voltage during the hot summer. The water motor also does not run. The women said that all the houses in the locality are not getting water since three days. Being forced to get on the road.

In many areas of the capital, people have been troubled by local faults and undeclared power cuts. The situation is that power cuts are happening every hour and in 24 hours, electricity is available hardly for 10 to 12 hours. The condition of rural areas is even worse. The electricity board considers the areas connected to the Ratu Chatti sub-station as urban areas and billing is done accordingly, but electricity is being cut for 10 to 12 hours in these areas.

At this time, the maximum temperature of all the districts of the state is crossing 40 degree Celsius during the day. The minimum temperature of most of the districts of the state is also running close to 30 degree Celsius. The Indian Meteorological Department has said that from June 19, the monsoon will be active once again. Due to this, it may rain in Jharkhand from June 20. After this the maximum and minimum temperature may fall. Monsoon will enter Jharkhand via Santal. Monsoon rains will start in the whole of Jharkhand in two-three days. The Meteorological Center has predicted that from June 19, the maximum temperature will start falling in the capital and surrounding areas. In the next three-four days, the maximum temperature may drop by four to five degrees Celsius.
