Ranchi: Anas Dhaba owner shot dead on Ring Road in Nagdi, this is how the incident happened

Crime in Ranchi: In Piskangadi of Ranchi, three unknown criminals entered the newly constructed ‘Anas Dhaba’ on the side of Ring Road in Nayasarai of Nagdi police station area and shot dead the operator Samsul Haq (47). The incident happened on Friday evening at 4:45 pm. After committing the crime, the criminals fled towards Tundul on a bike. As soon as information about the incident was received, Nagari police station in-charge Rohit Kumar reached the spot with his team. After convincing the villagers, he took possession of the body and sent it to RIMS for post-mortem. At the same time, the FSL team also reached the spot for investigation.

Around 4:45 pm on Friday evening, three youths riding a bike arrived outside the dhaba. One of these young men was limping. When those youth asked a person standing outside about Samsul, he told that he was inside the house. After this all three entered the house. Samsul Haq was sitting alone in his room. It is suspected that there was some altercation between Samsul and the three youths, after which one of the three took out a pistol and fired indiscriminately at Samsul. Two bullets hit him in the head, one in the leg and two in the stomach, due to which Samsul died on the spot. After this the criminals fled. After they left, when the laborer working in the dhaba reached the room, he saw Samsul’s body lying soaked in blood. He immediately informed the people nearby. After this people informed Nagdi police station about the incident.

Dhaba staff’s mobile phone was snatched

After receiving information about the incident, former chief of Tundul Dakshin Firoz Alam, former district council member of Nagdi Ainul Haq, Samsul’s cousin Imtiaz Alam, Parvez Alam and many relatives reached RIMS. Imtiaz told that last Friday also three people had arrived on a bike. There too a young man was limping. The staff of their dhaba was questioned about Samsul Haq. Along with this, his mobile phone was also snatched away with a weapon. Then a case of mobile loss was registered in Nagdi police station. People expressed apprehension that maybe the people who had snatched the staff’s mobile phone were the same ones. the killing Is it?

People told that even a week ago some people had come to the newly constructed Dhaba of Samsul and there was some clash with them. The villagers have demanded the police-administration to arrest the criminals within 24 hours. Said that they are ready to cooperate with the police.
