Jharkhand News: While riding a bicycle, an eight-year-old girl lost her balance on a slope and fell into a water-filled howda (tank). Seeing the daughter drowning, the mother also jumped into the water. She also started drowning. The guards and others ran after hearing their screams. Mother and daughter were pulled out of the houda. The girl was taken to RIMS where doctors declared her brought dead. At the same time, first aid was given to the injured mother. This incident took place on Thursday late evening at Shri Ram Krishna Enclave Apartment located in Green Park area Morabadi of Bariatu police station area.
The deceased girl lived in flat number 302. His father’s name is PK Singh. He is a software engineer. Mr. Singh, a resident of Fusro, was living in this rented flat with his two daughters and wife for three months. The relatives who were hurt by the daughter’s death did not inform the police about the incident. The police got information about the case from some local people on Saturday. After this, the police started investigating the matter. According to the information, PK Singh, the father of the deceased girl, has gone to Bokaro with his family after the incident.
Pits have been made for washing vehicles
The secretary of the apartment, RN Jha, said that in the rear of the apartment, pits have been made for washing vehicles. He told that PK Singh’s eight-year-old daughter was riding a bicycle in the rear of the apartment on late Thursday evening. Due to the slope there, the speed of the cycle increased. The cycle did not stop even after applying the brakes and she collided with the howda along with the cycle and fell into it.
