Ranchi: 14 lakh rupees stolen in a bag by breaking the glass of SUV

Ranchi: Criminals stole Rs 14 lakh by breaking the glass of an SUV parked near Sriram Chowk on Kanke Road in Gonda police station area. The money was kept in the bag. The incident happened on Wednesday around 1.30 pm. After parking the car, Umesh Kumar Pandey went to a nearby shop to buy some items. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot to investigate, but could not find any clue about the criminals.

Money was kept to be deposited in the bankAccording to the police, Umesh Kumar works in supplying trees, plants and seeds by profession. Umesh Pandey has told the police that the money belongs to his company. He was going to deposit the money in the bank. That’s why the money was kept in the bag. According to the police, during the incident, Umesh Kumar Pandey had gone to the shop where the car was parked on the roadside to buy some goods. When he came back, he found the glass of the car broken and when he opened the car, he found the bag full of money also missing.
