Ram Mandir: ‘We swear by Ram, we will build the temple there’, when Advani agitated the people by giving this slogan.

Ayodhya On January 22, Ram Lala will be seated in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. On this day, Pran Pratishtha ceremony has been organized in the newly constructed temple of Lord Shri Ram. For this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also started a special ritual of 11 days. The construction work of the temple is still going on, although it is being said that it will be completed by the end of 2024.

The dream of millions of people will come true

When the Ram temple is consecrated on January 22, the dream of millions of people will come true, which they had seen many years ago. In which the name of BJP’s frybrand leader and former Deputy Prime Minister of the country Lal Krishna Advani is also included. Whenever Ram Mandir is discussed, Advani will be made to stand first in the queue. If Advani laid the foundation of Ram temple, Narendra Modi will inaugurate it. PM Modi is known as the most powerful Prime Minister in the world today, but Advani has played a role in shaping him.

When Advani took out Rath Yatra, Narendra Damodar Das Modi was the charioteer.

When Lal Krishna Advani took out the Rath Yatra, the charioteer of that chariot was Narendra Modi. Modi ji played a big role in making Advani’s Rath Yatra successful in Gujarat.

Advani had announced to start Rath Yatra from Somnath

Lal Krishna Advani had announced to take out Rath Yatra from Somnath to Ayodhya. He started his journey on 25 September 1990. A vehicle was given the form of a chariot. Before starting the yatra, Advani had given a slogan, ‘Saugand Ram ki khate hain, mandir wale banayenge’. It is said that Advani was given a grand welcome at all the places he passed through in his chariot. People were so enthusiastic about their faith and the construction of Ram temple that they worshiped the chariot and applied the dust of the wheels on their foreheads. Advani wrote in his article ‘Shri Ram Mandir: Fulfillment of a Divine Dream’, on the one hand, the movement had widespread public support, on the other hand, most of the political parties were hesitant in supporting this movement because they feared losing Muslim votes. There was fear. They got lured by vote-bank politics and started justifying it in the name of secularism.

Lalu Prasad government stopped Advani’s chariot in Bihar, arrest was made

When Lal Krishna Advani’s chariot reached Bihar, the then Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav stopped it from moving forward. Advani ji was arrested and put under house arrest in Dumka jail of Jharkhand. Advani’s chariot was to reach Ayodhya on 30 October 1992. But on October 22, he was stopped and arrested. However, as per the scheduled date, the Kar Sevaks reached Ayodhya. At that time, on the orders of the then Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mulayam Singh Yadav, the police had opened fire on the kar sevaks. It is claimed that about 55 people died in that shooting. However, the police had confirmed the death of 17 people.

Babri Masjid demolition

On October 30, 1992, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad had talked about building a Ram temple next to the Babri Masjid. After that, on 28 November 1992, the Supreme Court ordered Kar Sevaks to perform bhajan on 6 December. Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi also reached there to participate in that program. When Advani reached the site of Babri Masjid on 6 December, lakhs of people including Ashok Singhal, Vijayaraje Scindia, Uma Bharti, Vinay Katiyar were already present there. In the afternoon some kar sevaks started climbing the dome of the mosque. Advani stopped the kar sevaks from doing so, but the crowd did not agree and within no time the kar sevaks demolished the dome of the mosque. After that incident, a long legal battle was fought for almost three decades. Ultimately, on September 30, 2020, the special CBI court acquitted Advani of all charges.

Ram Mandir movement had also become a symbol of re-establishing the real meaning of secularism: Advani

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Lal Krishna Advani has said that the primary objective of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement was the reconstruction of the Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya and it was an attempt to restore the real meaning of secularism (tarnished due to the onslaught of pseudo-secularism). It also became a symbol. He said that before the special occasion of January 22, 2024, the atmosphere of the entire country has become truly festive. He said it is a moment of satisfaction for him, not only as a proud member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the BJP, but also as a proud citizen of our glorious motherland. He said that he is blessed that he will witness this historic moment in his lifetime. Advani said, I humbly say that destiny gave me an opportunity to perform an important duty in the form of Shri Ram Rath Yatra from Somnath to Ayodhya in 1990.

Destiny decided the construction of Ram temple, Prime Minister Modi was chosen for it: Advani

Lal Krishna Advani, in an article published in the upcoming special edition of ‘Rashtra Dharma’ magazine, has said that destiny had decided that a grand temple of Lord Ram would be built in Ayodhya and it chose Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this. Referring to the Rath Yatra taken out 33 years ago, Advani said he believed the Ayodhya movement was the most decisive and transformative event in his political journey which gave him the opportunity to rediscover India and re-understand himself in the process. .
