(Anand Mohan from Ayodhya) Preparations are going on for the consecration of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, the city of Lord Shri Ram. Along with giving the final shape to the temple, the program of Pran Pratishtha is also being finalized. On the last day of the ritual, Ramlala himself will first look at his image in the mirror. PM Narendra Modi will show this mirror to God. Before this, Modi will remove the blindfold from Ramlala’s eyes amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras, apply kajal on him with a gold coin and perform Panchopachar puja and perform the aarti.
Five people will be present: Only five people will remain in the sanctum sanctorum during Pran Pratistha. PM will be the chief host. Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat, UP Governor Anandiben Patel, CM Yogi Adityanath and Chief Acharya will also participate in it.
Lord Shri Ram’s throne being covered with gold: The throne made for the idol of Lord Ramlala is being covered with gold. This three feet high and eight feet wide throne is made of Makrana marble. The basic structure of copper has been prepared with special technology for coating it with gold.
Devotees will taste Banarasi dish; Coarse grains will also be promoted: Delicious Banarasi dishes will be served to the guests who came to witness the consecration of the Ram temple. A tent city is being constructed for these guests. Here they will experience the fusion of mythological and modern Ayodhya. The guests will be served coarse grain dishes, corn roti and mustard greens, bajra roti, pea nimona, baati chokha, moong khichdi and other dishes. Many monasteries have also made arrangements for free food. More than five thousand monasteries are gearing up to feed five lakh people.
Three teams formed for Dalpuja: Three teams of Acharyas have been formed for the Dalpuja to be held after Pran Pratistha. The first team will be led by Swami Govind Dev Giri. The second team will be led by Shankaracharya Vijayendra Saraswati, who is the Shankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peeth. Whereas, 21 scholars from Kashi have been kept in the third team.
