Ayodhya: The ritual of consecration in Shri Ram temple started at 9 am on Sunday, the sixth day. The idol of Shri Ram Lalla was bathed in 114 urns containing medicines and holy water brought from various pilgrimage sites of the country. In the ritual of Pran Pratishtha, the ritual process started with daily puja, havan and parayana. The idol of Shri Ramlala was kept in Madhyadhivas. Night vigilance also took place on Sunday itself. The old idol of Shri Ram Lalla is also being worshiped in the Yagyashala. Worship with various flowers brought from many places including Chennai and Pune.
Anil Mishra with his family and Vishwa Hindu Parishad President Dr. RN Singh and others participated in Sunday’s puja on behalf of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. The process of Pran Pratishtha ritual started from Saryu River in the afternoon of 16th January. The idol of Shri Ramlala arrived in the temple premises on 17 January. The ritual of Pran Pratishtha will be completed in Abhijeet Muhurta on Monday 22nd January afternoon. Preparations for Pran Pratistha have been completed.
