Kannauj (Language): On the day of consecration of Ram temple in Ayodhya, Ramlala will smell of special perfume. Amidst the enthusiasm of all the Ram devotees regarding the ceremony, the perfume traders of Kannauj have prepared a special fragrance to make Ramlala fragrant. It will be presented to the Temple Construction Trust for use during the puja on the auspicious time of Pran-Pratishtha on 22nd January.
Pawan Trivedi, President of ‘Kannauj Attars and Perfumes Association’, said on Wednesday that all the small and big perfume businessmen in Kannauj have together prepared some special fragrances, which will be sent to Ayodhya in the service of Ram Lalla. Different types of perfumes and scented water will be collected on a chariot, taken on a tour of the city and sent to Ayodhya. Pawan Trivedi told that these special types of perfumes and fragrant water will be presented to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust which is constructing the temple for use during the puja on the auspicious time of Pran-Pratishtha on 22nd January.
Ramlala will be bathed with rose water
In Kannauj, rose water is prepared from rose flowers. With which Ramlala will take bath. After that, Ramlala will be fragrant with the famous perfumes of Kannauj, Atar Mitti, Atar Motiya, Rooh Gulab, sandalwood oil and henna. Keeping the winter in mind, the perfume traders of Kannauj have also made Attar Shamama for their Ramlala. Which helps in protecting from cold. A mixture of herbs has also been used in making this special perfume. The perfume of Kannauj will make not only Ramlala but also the entire temple premises fragrant with its fragrance.
The consecration ceremony will be organized in the Ram temple on January 22 in Ayodhya. Preparations for this are being made in full swing. Many eminent personalities including Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been invited to the program.
