Rajouri Encounter: Aligarh’s Lal martyred while fighting terrorists in Rajouri, ceremony was to be held on 8th December

Aligarh: 24 year old Para Commando Sachin Laur, resident of village Nagaria Gaurola, Tappal, Aligarh, has been martyred while fighting terrorists in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir. Sachin, who made his supreme sacrifice for the country, was to get married on 8th December. His wedding procession was to take place in Mathura’s Maat. There was chaos in the area when the news of his martyrdom reached the family amidst the happiness and preparations for the wedding. The mortal remains of Sachin Sachin will reach Tappal on Friday. Here he will be given his last farewell with state honours. The family members are in bad condition and crying. On Thursday, when the family members of this martyr got the news of their son’s sacrifice, they were filled with grief. Farmer father Ramesh Chand and mother Bhagwati Devi became unconscious due to shock. Sachin Laur’s elder brother Vivek Laur is also in the Indian Navy. Sachin Laur joined the Army on 20 March 2019. Became a commando in Special Forces in 2021. Presently he was posted in Para 2 Regiment of Rajouri. Before the encounter with terrorists in Rajouri, Sachin had talked to his elder brother Vivek on phone. Told them that everything was fine. The operation is going on. Had promised brother that we will talk after the operation. After this we could not talk again. It is noteworthy that in the encounter that took place on Wednesday in Bajimal, Kalakot, Rajouri, four soldiers including two officers of the 9 Para Commando Regiment of the Army were martyred while fighting the terrorists.
