Rajgir Festival: Preparations for the three-day Rajgir Mahotsav starting from 30th November are being done on war footing. This function, to be held on December 2, will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on November 30. On the last day of the festival, famous Bollywood musician and lyricist Vishal Bhardwaj will perform the magic of his singing on the audience. Girl students from class 8th to 12th of government and private schools are allowed to participate in this competition. The painting competition is also scheduled to be held on December 1st. On December 2, the second day of Mahila Mahotsav, a fashion show competition will be organized at the Circus Ground itself. Intermediate and graduate level girl students from government and private schools will be allowed to participate in this competition. In this competition, two girl students from plus two school and college will be participating, one in interstate traditional attire and one in different cultural dance. Antakshari and musical chair competitions will also be organized on the same day. Apart from the girl students participating in various competitions, women will also participate in this event.

Rajgir Mahotsav has been going on for 37 years
