Two youths died due to lightning in Jamui
In Jamui, on Sikandra-Lakhisarai main road, near Lohanda village under the police station area, two youths standing under a banyan tree died due to lightning accompanied by light rain on Thursday. After the incident, a crowd of people gathered on the spot. On the other hand, as soon as the information about the incident was received, the police also reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The owner of the vehicle was identified from the registration number of the bike lying at the spot of the incident and informed about the incident by calling his mobile number. After which, after the relatives of the deceased reached the spot, the deceased was identified as Nikki Kumar father Umesh Yadav and Manish Kumar father Ashok Mandal, residents of Doordih village under Ramgarh Chowk police station area under Lakhisarai district.

According to information, Nikki Kumar and Manish Kumar were coming towards Sikandra riding a bike. Meanwhile it started raining. To avoid the rain, Nikki Kumar and Manish Kumar parked their bike under a banyan tree near Lohanda village of Sikandra police station area. During this, both the youths came under the grip of lightning. Due to which both the youths died on the spot. After the incident, the police reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it to Jamui for postmortem.
A woman died due to lightning in Madhepura
Nirmala Devi, wife of Ramchandra Mahato, died due to lightning on Thursday in Nemua village of Barahi Anandpura panchayat under Udakishunganj police station area of Madhepura. People informed CO Harinath Ram. He has sent the revenue employee to the spot. Former chief Pramod Mahato has expressed grief over the incident. Here the police have taken the dead body in possession and sent it to Sadar Hospital Munger for postmortem.

He died due to being hit by it. After the death, there was uproar among the family members. On receiving the information, Kharagpur Zonal Magistrate Santosh Kumar Singh gave a check of 4 lakhs to Munni Devi, the mother of the deceased, under the provisions of the Disaster Management Department.
