The name of Badki Champi station is in the railway app. It is said that a dispute had arisen over the name of the only railway station in the block. As a result, the railway station has not been named even after 13 years.

On the Ranchi-Tori railway section, one superfast and 2 mail express trains operate up to Tori via Lohardaga via Badki Champi railway station. Many goods trains are also operating. On 12 November 2011, a train ran from Lohardaga to Badki Champi for the first time. The passenger train was inaugurated by the then MP Sudarshan Bhagat and other public representatives.

Passenger train ran for the first time on 12 November 2011
The passenger train from Lohardaga-Ranchi rail line ran for the first time from Lohardaga to Badki Champi on 12 November 2011. From March 2017, passenger trains started running from Badki Champi to Tori. The passenger train from Lohardaga reaches Badki Champi at 11:25 am. From here it goes to Tori via Boda. Badki returns to Champi at around 1:50 pm via Tori via Boda and goes to Lohardaga. Apart from this, Ranchi-Sasaram Mail Express train runs via Badki Champi, while Rajdhani Express train also runs on the same route.

Why has the station not been named yet?
It is said that there is a dispute between the people of two villages regarding the naming of the station. The name of the station in railway records is Badki Champi. Villagers say that the place where the station is located is in Kamle village. Therefore the name of the station should be Kamle. The name Badki Champi has been mentioned in the railway survey. Therefore, the station has not been officially named yet. Experts say that a meeting of the people of Kamle and Badki Champi villages has been held. The name of the station will be decided only with the consent of the villagers. It seems that this station will be named soon.

Nothing in the name of basic facilities, security is also missing
There is a severe lack of basic facilities at Badki Champi railway station. There is a water pipe, which is not enough to quench the thirst of travelers in summer. From this station, villagers of half a dozen panchayats of Kudu block as well as half a dozen panchayats of Lohardaga Sadar block, 4 panchayats of Kisco block, two panchayats of Chandwa block can catch trains from Ranchi, Lohardaga to Tori, Daltenganj and Delhi. Badki comes to Champi station. There is a shed here, while the pew is lying idle. The pew is also damaged. There is no security system.
