Raghuvar Das Governor of Odisha from today, took blessings of Lord Jagannath before taking oath.

Raghuvar Das will take oath as the Governor of Odisha today. Odisha’s new Governor Raghuvar Das reached Puri early on Monday. A day later, i.e. before the swearing-in ceremony to be held on October 31, he had darshan of Mahaprabhu at the Jagannath temple here. On this occasion he said that Mahaprabhu Jagannath has brought me here to serve the poor and deprived people. He also said that the doors of Raj Bhavan will remain open 24 hours for the poor people of the state. While talking to the journalists after darshan in Sri Mandir, Raghuvar Das said that it is the blessings of God that Lord Krishna has been present in the form of Lord Jagannath on this land of Odisha for centuries. I am very fortunate that I got the opportunity to serve the people of the state on this holy land of Lord Jagannath. President Draupadi Murmu had named Raghuvar Das as the new Governor of Odisha on October 18.

CM Naveen Patnaik welcomed

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik welcomed Raghuvar Das at the Raj Bhavan on his arrival in Bhubaneswar on Monday ahead of the swearing-in ceremony as the 26th Governor of Odisha. Speaker Pramila Mallik and others were present on the occasion.

Took blessings of Mahaprabhu Jagannath

Raghuvar Das reached Puri on Monday morning by Purushottam Express. He was given a warm welcome at the railway station. After this he went to Raj Bhavan in Puri. Reached Shri Mandir from there. After reaching Singhdwar, he was welcomed in Shrimandir. Here he offered prayers along with his wife.
