The information is that about 80 passengers traveling in Bharat Gaurav special train from Chennai suddenly got disturbed due to ill health. The train was about to reach Pune railway station late on Tuesday night. Even before this, many passengers started feeling dizziness, stomach ache, vomiting and diarrhea. Railway officials at Pune station got information about this incident at around 10.45 pm. It is being told that this train was booked by a private party for a pilgrimage related tour in Palitana, Gujarat.

There were about 1,000 passengers in the train

According to the information received, there were about 1,000 passengers in this train. Ramdas Bhise, Divisional Commercial Manager and PRO, Pune Railway Division, also informed that we were told that many passengers experienced dizziness, stomach pain, vomiting and diarrhea. In response, a team of doctors from the Railway Hospital, along with doctors from Ruby Hall and other railway officials, was sent to Pune station to provide medical assistance.

Passengers were deboarded from the train on the platform

Amidst all these incidents, the train reached Pune station at 11.25 pm and treatment was started immediately. PRO Ramdas Bhise said, “The passengers were deboarded from the train on the platform and given treatment. Fortunately, no passenger had to be admitted to the hospital. After treatment, the train with all the passengers left Pune station at around 12.30 pm. Left.” Officials said that a thorough investigation was done before the departure of the train. “There was no pantry facility in the train. It was reported that the passengers got food at Wadi railway station, about 180 km from Solapur.

Efforts continue to find out the reason
