Lucknow. Two Pooja special trains will run via Narkatiaganj. From November 24, one Puja special train will be run from Saharsa to Ambala Cantt and the other from Raxaul to Anand Vihar. These trains will run up to Ambala Cantt via Samastipur-Raxaul-Narkatiyaganj-Gorakhpur-Moradabad and up to Anand Vihar via Raxaul. According to the information received from Divisional Railway Management, Lucknow, in view of the extra rush of passengers after Chhath Puja, East Central Railway has decided to run special trains from Saharsa to Ambala Cantt and from Raxaul to Anand Vihar to provide them easy transportation facilities. Train No. 05577 Saharsa-Ambala Cantt Special will depart from Saharsa at 19:10 hrs every Friday from 24th November to 08th December 2023 and will reach Ambala Cantt at 23:15 hrs on Saturday the next day, stopping at various stations. In return, Train No. 05578 Ambala Cantt-Saharsa Special will depart from Ambala Cantt at 03:40 hrs every Sunday from 26th November to 10th December 2023 and will reach Saharsa the next day at 09:45 hrs on Monday. In up and down direction, this train will reach Simri Bakhtiyarpur. , Mansi, Khagaria, Hasanpur Road, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Kamtaul, Janakpur Road, Sitamarhi, Bairagnia, Raxaul, Narkatiaganj, Bagaha, Gorakhpur, Sitapur, Moradabad and Saharanpur stations.
There will be 10 sleeper class coaches
This special train will have 10 sleeper class coaches and 10 ordinary class coaches. Whereas Train No. 05531 Raxaul-Anand Vihar Special will depart from Raxaul at 22:25 hrs every Sunday from 26 November to 10 December 2023 and will reach Anand Vihar at 18:00 hrs on Monday the next day, stopping at various stations. In return, Train No. 05532 Anand Vihar-Raxaul special will depart Anand Vihar at 20:00 hrs every Monday from 27 November to 11 December 2023 and reach Raxaul at 14:30 hrs the next day on Tuesday. In up and down direction, this train will stop at Sagauli, Bettiah, Narkatiaganj, Bagaha, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Sitapur, Moradabad and Ghaziabad stations. This special train will have 20 ordinary class coaches.
