In view of the extra rush of passengers during festivals, Railways has decided to run one pair of puja specials each from Muzaffarpur and Barauni to Yesvantpur via Hajipur-Patliputra-Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Jn-Prayagraj Chhivki-Jabalpur-Nagpur. This special train will operate from Barauni every Saturday of the week from 7th October to 9th December and from Yesvantpur on every Tuesday of the week from 10th October to 12th December.
Train No. 05215 Barauni-Yesvantpur Puja Special will leave from Barauni on Saturday at 13.20 hrs and reach Samastipur at 14.25 hrs, Muzaffarpur at 15.25 hrs, Hajipur at 16.35 hrs, Patliputra at 17.40 hrs, Ara at 18.39 hrs, Buxar at 19.25 hrs, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Jn at 21.14 hrs. It will reach Yesvantpur at 19.00 hrs on Monday, stopping. In return, train number 05216 Yesvantpur-Barauni Puja Special will depart from Yesvantpur at 7.30 am on Tuesday and reach Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Jn. at 6.40 am on Thursday, Buxar at 7.50 am, Ara at 8.35 am, Patliputra at 9.30 am, Hajipur at 10.25 am, Muzaffarpur at 11.30 am and Muzaffarpur at 12.30 pm. Stopping at Samastipur, it will reach Barauni at 14.00 hrs. This special train will have 2 coaches of second air-conditioned class, 4 of third air-conditioned class, 12 of sleeper class and 3 of ordinary class.
Similarly, 05271/05272 Muzaffarpur-Yesvantpur-Muzaffarpur Express special will operate from Muzaffarpur on every Friday of the week from 6th October to 8th December and from Yesvantpur on every Monday of the week from 9th October to 11th December. Train No. 05271 Muzaffarpur-Yesvantpur Puja Special will leave from Muzaffarpur on Friday at 15.30 hrs and reach Hajipur at 16.35 hrs, Patliputra at 17.40 hrs, Arrah at 18.39 hrs, Buxar at 19.25 hrs, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Jn at 21.14 hrs. It will reach Yesvantpur stopping at 19.00 hrs on Sunday. In return, train number 05272 Yesvantpur-Muzaffarpur Puja Special will depart from Yesvantpur at 7.30 am on Monday and stop at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Jn. at 6.40 am on Wednesday, Buxar at 7.50 pm, Ara at 8.35 am, Patliputra at 9.30 am and Hajipur at 10.25 am and reach Muzaffarpur at 12.00 pm. This special train will have 2 coaches of second air-conditioned class, 4 of third air-conditioned class, 12 of sleeper class and 3 of ordinary class.
