Property worth lakhs stolen in Giridih

Mrinal Kumar, Giridih: Thieves have targeted the house of Rajdev Rajak in Patel Nagar of Giridih Mufassil police station area. The victim applied to the Mufassil police station and demanded investigation into the theft incident. Rajdev Rajak says that the whole family had gone to their native village Chatra during Holi, during which the thieves committed the crime. He says that many valuables including jewelery and cash worth Rs 8 lakh have been stolen.

Regarding the incident, family members told that they have their own house in Patel Nagar. During Holi, the whole family had gone to their native village Deori village in Chatra. When I returned to my home in Patel Nagar around 9 am on Thursday morning, I saw that the lock of the grill was broken. After going inside, I saw that the things kept in the room were scattered. After this, an uproar was created and people nearby reached the spot.

Theft of property worth Rs 10 lakh

According to the information, the thieves had taken away jewelery worth about Rs 8 lakh, Rs 15 thousand in cash, two LCD TVs, bronze and brass utensils and many other items. The victim told that the thieves have stolen property worth about Rs 10 lakh. After receiving information about the incident, Mufassil police station reached the spot and started investigation. Police have said that the thieves will be caught soon.
