Production of three HEC plants stalled, know what is the main reason for this

Due to lack of working capital in HEC, the production of all the three plants (FFP, HMBP and HMTP) has come to a standstill. The workers are just going to register their presence in the plants. At the same time, the dispatch of spare parts and other small equipment made in HMBP is also not happening due to lack of money. Plant officials told that spare parts of NCL are made.

The transporters are demanding payment of past dues. Due to this dispatch is not happening. Dhar, six furnaces installed in FFP plant are also lying closed for several months. This includes 5, 10 and 20 ton furnaces. Efforts have been started by the management to restart the furnace.

Demonstration on demand for 15 months salary payment

On Monday, a demonstration was held in front of the HEC headquarters by the HEC United Sangharsh Morcha demanding payment of 15 months’ salary to HEC employees. Here Hatia Mazdoor Union President Bhawan Singh said that if the management does not give information about the date of salary payment within two days, then there will be continuous agitation and demonstration from 23rd August.
