Jayanagar. The three-day Maa Mathurasini Mahotsav, organized under the aegis of Mahuri Vaishya Mandal, Parsabad, started with a procession on Tuesday. The procession was started from the place of worship with an attractive tableau. A large number of people of the society participated in it, chanting Siddhi Datri. The procession was going on and reached Durga Mandap Parsabad via Station Road, VSV Uvi. After offering prayers here, the devotees reached Ramjanaki temple Katia via Parsabad market, then the procession coming from different areas ended after reaching the place of worship. Pandit Rajendra performed the puja here, Stuti Seth, Sukriti Seth participated in the puja. Cold drinking water was arranged by the Mahuri youth committee for the people participating in the procession.
