President Murmu’s visit to Varanasi today, route diversion plan issued in the city, read this news before leaving home

President Draupadi Murmu is coming to attend the convocation ceremony of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth in Varanasi on Monday. In view of this, arrangements for route diversion have been made by the Commissionerate Traffic Police in the city. During the convocation ceremony at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, movement of any type of vehicles will be completely prohibited from English Line Tiraha to Maldahiya Square. ADCP Traffic Rajesh Kumar Pandey has appealed to the general public to cooperate in maintaining the smooth functioning of the traffic system by following the diversion plan.

  • No vehicle will operate over Harhua flyover at the time of arrival/departure of the President.

  • No vehicle will go towards Panchkroshi Road, Harhua from Panchkroshi intersection, Ring Road.

  • No vehicle will be allowed to go towards Harhua intersection from Parampur underpass. Vehicles will be diverted towards Rakhuna underpass.

  • No vehicle will be allowed to come towards Harhua intersection from Rakhuna underpass. Vehicles will be diverted towards Rajatalab.

  • No vehicle will be allowed to go towards Panchkroshi Road, Harhua or Harhua intersection from Rameshwar, Harhua Tiraha.

  • No vehicle will be allowed to go towards Panchkroshi Road, Harhua from Azamgarh Underpass. Vehicles will be diverted towards Sarnath underpass.

  • No vehicle will be allowed from Gilat Bazar Tiraha towards Bhojubir Tiraha/Tarna. Vehicles will be diverted towards Central Jail Road/Shivpur Market.

  • No vehicle will be allowed from Golghar, Kachari towards Circuit House. Vehicles will be diverted towards Ambedkar Square/Ardali Bazaar.

  • No vehicle will be allowed to go from JP Mehta Tiraha towards Daitraveer, Bhojubir Tiraha. Vehicles will be diverted towards Central Jail Road.

  • No vehicle will be allowed to go towards Chowkaghat intersection from Andhrapul. Vehicles will be diverted towards Nadesar.

  • No vehicle will be allowed to go towards Chowkaghat intersection from Teliabagh intersection. Vehicles will be diverted from Marimai towards Andhrapul.

  • No vehicle will be allowed to go over the Cantt flyover from Lakdimandi Tiraha side. Vehicles will be diverted towards VC Residence Road of Sanskrit University.

  • No vehicle coming from the Cancer Hospital will be allowed to go over the Cantt flyover. Vehicles will be sent from the service lane below the Cantt flyover.

  • No vehicle will be allowed to go towards Amar Ujala Tiraha from Lahurabir intersection. Vehicles will be diverted towards Chetganj intersection.

  • No one will be allowed to go towards any Marimai Tiraha from Andhrapul. Vehicles will be diverted towards Cantt station.

  • No vehicle will be allowed to go from Jaisingh intersection towards Maldahiya intersection. Vehicles will be diverted towards Chetganj.

  • No vehicle will be allowed to go from English Line Tiraha towards Maldahiya intersection. Vehicles will be diverted towards Cantt station.

  • No vehicle will be allowed to move from Maldahiya intersection towards Englishia Line intersection. Vehicles will be diverted towards Sajan Tiraha.

  • No vehicle will be allowed from Sajan Tiraha towards Maldahiya intersection, Cantt Dharamshala. Vehicles will be diverted towards Sigra.

  • All types of entry except VVIP will be prohibited from Gate No. 3 of Kashi Vidyapeeth.

  • All VIPs/guests who have been invited to the event will alight their vehicles at Maldahiya intersection. Their vehicles will enter from the residential complex gate and will be parked next to the sports ground and at the administrative building intersection.

  • Vehicles of higher administrative officials will be made to make a U-turn from Phool Mandi and will be parked on the side of the road going from English Line to Maldahiya.

  • Vehicles of general public coming from Sajan Tiraha will be entered from Gate No. 1 of Kashi Vidyapeeth and parked in the grounds.
