The district administration is preparing to take action against Lareb Hashmi, a B.Tech student who slapped bus conductor Harikesh Vishwakarma in Prayagraj. Preparations are being made to run a bulldozer on the house of accused Lareb Hashmi. Bulldozers can operate on Lareb’s house and poultry farm. The house of the accused and the poultry farm are on the same land. Initial investigation has revealed that the construction was done without taking permission from the government staff. Poultry farm has also been built on residential land without permission. The house or poultry farm has been constructed illegally and according to sources, a demolition notice may be issued soon. If a satisfactory response to the notice is not received, the bulldozer may be used.

The house and poultry farm are in the name of Younus Hashmi, father of accused Lareb Hashmi. Lareb had used the chapad from his own poultry farm in the crime. On the other hand, when the police investigated Lareb Hashmi’s mobile, it was found that he used to listen to the speeches of Pakistani Maulana on his mobile. This has been revealed from his YouTube search history. Also, other intelligence agencies including ATS interrogated Lareb Hashmi on Saturday. An ATS team from Varanasi had reached Swarooprani Nehru Hospital (SRN) in the morning for questioning. IB and Local Intelligence Unit also interrogated. After being shot in the leg, he has been kept under tight security in the hospital. On Sunday, the court gave him judicial remand for 14 days. The agencies also searched Laraib’s house in Hajiganj, Soraon. Desktop, chip, pen drive, two mobiles, five diaries and bank passbooks of the entire family and other things have been seized from the house. These are being investigated.
