Political turmoil is intense in Jharkhand. The Chief Minister returned to Ranchi on Tuesday, but the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is asking him where he was from Monday to Tuesday afternoon. BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdev has strongly attacked Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Pratul also said that it is his responsibility to follow the oath taken by the Chief Minister. He will have to tell where he stayed for 40 hours. On January 29, throughout the day, Enforcement Directorate officials kept searching for him from the government residence in Delhi to Shibu Soren’s residence and Jharkhand Bhawan. Later Hemant Soren presided over the meeting of MLAs at the CM residence. Kalpana Soren was also present in the meeting with him. After this, speculations intensified that Kalpana Soren could be handed over the reins of power. That means he can be made the Chief Minister. But, these speculations were rejected after the legislature party meeting in the evening. Congress and JMM leaders said that all the MLAs are standing strongly with Hemant Soren.
