Prakharpan app will track cyber criminals, CID DG will inaugurate on November 8

Ranchi: CID DG Anurag Gupta has prepared an app (Pratibimba) to track cyber criminals. To make this app operational, it can be inaugurated on November 8. On this day, a meeting of police officers from six states of the country including Jharkhand is to be held in Ranchi to control cyber crime. According to the information, when a cyber criminal’s mobile number is entered in the app, his location comes in the app. Through this, cyber criminals hiding at any place can be easily tracked. CID will also provide the facility to police of other states to track cyber criminals through the app.

According to the information, the Indian Cyber ​​​​Crime Coordination Center, working under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has given the CID a trial as a trial to track cyber criminals through the app by obtaining the mobile numbers used in cyber crimes in different states of the country. The app was made available. During tracking, it was found that at present at least two and a half thousand and maximum three thousand cyber criminals are active every day in different states of the country. After the launch of the app, cyber criminals of Jharkhand will be mapped and sent to the SP of the concerned district for action.
