Prabhu Shri Shyam set out on a city tour on a chariot of flowers, 3000 devotees raised the mark

On Phalgun Shukla Ekadashi, under the banner of Shri Shyam Ratri Monthly Nishan Yatra Committee, a huge Nishan Yatra was taken out from Sakchi with music and musical instruments late on Wednesday evening. Thousands of devotees reached Baikunth Dham Temple Jugsalai, holding Nikha in their hands and praising Baba and offered Nikha at the feet of Baba.

Nishan Yatra started from Sakchi Shiv Temple

The Nishan Yatra started from Sakchi Shiv Mandir in Jamshedpur late on Wednesday evening and reached Shri Baikunth Dham Jugsalai late at night. Shri Shyam Prabhu, seated on a chariot decorated with flowers, kept giving darshan to the devotees all the way. Devotees were walking along dancing and singing. During this time, there was a queue of people all along the way to have darshan and worship of the Lord.

Devotees showered flowers

On reaching the Yatra, the devotees offered prayers and showered flowers. Along with chanting of mantras, Aarti also continued while worshiping. And the journey continued. People remained busy serving the devotees all along the way. During this time the atmosphere of the city had become dark.

The 148th huge Shri Shyam Nishan Yatra was organized by Shri Shyam Ratri Monthly Nishan Yatra Committee. Before this, after the formal worship of the icon, Aarti was performed by the priests in the Shiva temple located at Sakchi. During the Nishan Yatra, the members of Shri Rani Sati Satsang Samiti, riding on the vehicle, were moving ahead presenting live bhajans. The chariot of Shri Shyam Prabhu was in the first category. The yatra started from Sakchi and reached Bistupur. Where Shyam devotees were warmly welcomed. Flowers kept raining on Shri Shyam Prabhu throughout the way.

The group was moving ahead dancing

Shyam devotees were moving towards their destination while dancing during the journey. Meanwhile, hymns of Shyam Prabhu were presented by Shri Jeen Mata Parivar, Mitra Kanwar Sangh, Shiva Residency Parivar, Shri Shyam Bhatli Parivar, Agarwal Conference Bistupur Branch, Goyal Parivar Bistupur, Shri Manav Kalyan Seva Samiti and other organizations.

Women brought 36 types of dishes from home and offered them to the Lord.

To offer food to Lord Khatu Shyam, women reached the temple after making various dishes with their own hands. After this, 36 types of dishes and delicacies were offered. This especially includes Shyam Prabhu Priya Churma, Dal Seera, Lapsi, Gum Laddu, Kheer, Guar Phali, Dilkhusar, Ghevar, Guar Phali, Bajra Khichdi, Kadhi Kachori, Gatta Ko Saag etc. After offering bhog to Baba, finally the bhog was distributed among the devotees as Prasad.

Keeping in mind the preferences of Shyam Baba, the devotees had arranged for sweet paan filled with sweet spices to be offered to Baba, which after the offering was distributed among the devotees as Prasad.

Late in the night Shri Shyam Prabhu Nishan Yatra reached Shri Baikunth Dham Jugsalai. Where the devotees offered nishan at the feet of Shyam Prabhu. After this there were huge fireworks. There was a huge crowd of people to see this. After this, devotees enjoyed Holi of flowers with bhajans till late night.
