Power cut in Jharkhand due to JBVNL, know till when this problem will be solved

Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (JBVNL) has outstanding dues of Rs 45 crore to Adhunik Power. This outstanding bill could not be paid on time, due to which the electricity of the state was cut after midnight on Sunday. Due to this the state stopped getting 180 MW power. At the same time, about 20 MW less power is being received from other sources as well. Due to this there was a power crisis in the state.

Electricity is being supplied by load shedding. According to departmental sources, the solution to this crisis is possible only after the next 18 hours (till Tuesday evening). Here, apart from the capital, this power cut has also affected other places (except DVC area). In this summer season, random power cuts have made life difficult for the people. Inverters are responding. At the same time, due to irregular power supply and low voltage, water supply from the reservoirs of the capital is being disrupted. At the same time, it is becoming difficult to fill water even from the boring in the houses.

Adhunik Power was paid 21 crores :

In lieu of taking power from the central pool, the state has to pay the bill within 75 days. This payment is done through ‘Prapti App’. Automatic power cut in case of delay in payment. Till the time the bill is not paid, the power supply does not start again. JBVNL officials told that due to Sunday, the dues could not be paid to Adhunik Power.

Because of this, power cuts started happening in different parts of the state from Sunday midnight itself. On Monday, JBVNL paid Rs 21 crore to Modern Power through ‘Prapti App’. The balance amount will be paid on Tuesday. It is expected that by Tuesday night the state will start getting 180 MW power again.

Production likely to start today from Inland Power:

Inland Power is likely to start producing electricity from Tuesday. This produces 50 MW of electricity. With the commencement of its production, the state will get a lot of support. The officials here have been requested to start power generation for the arrival of the President.

There was a power cut from the Hinoo feeder of the airport sub-station in the capital from 12:40 to 1:40 on Sunday night and from 4:55 to 5:25 in the early hours of Monday. Last Sunday night from 1:40 to 2:40 and Monday afternoon from 12:30 to 12:40 power supply was interrupted from PHED feeder. In Tatisilwe’s New Khantaga, consumers complained about not getting electricity from 12:45 am on Sunday night till 3:45 am on Monday. Apart from this, power shortage was observed in other areas including Kokar, Booti Mod, Ormanjhi, Main Road, Doranda, Hinoo, HEC, Dhurva, Hatia, Harmu, Ratu Road, Itki Road, Kanke Road, Kanke, Namkum, Tatisilway.
