Due to this people are facing problems. Along with the rain, an alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department regarding thunderclap.
Warning of thunder and lightning with rain
On Thursday, the Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rainfall in West Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Arwal, Jehanabad, Vaishali, Samastipur, Saharsa, Sitamarhi, Begusarai, Madhubani, Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur districts in the next 48 hours. Light to moderate rain along with the possibility of thunder and lightning has been expressed in most places across Bihar. On the other hand, talking about the last 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall has been recorded at most places in the last 24 hours.
Less than normal rainfall till June 29
In the last 24 hours, there has been heavy rain at one or two places in the state. The highest rainfall of 90.8 mm has been recorded in Raniganj block of Araria district. From June 1, 2023 to June 29, 2023, normal rainfall has been recorded less than normal with a deviation of 153.5 mm. At present, the weather has turned pleasant with rains in many districts of the state. After a long heat, clouds have rained from the sky. Heavy rain warning has been issued in Madhubani, Purnia, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj during the next 24 hours.
