Poor performance of five zones of Patna in cases of rejection, DM gave special instructions

In Patna district, the performance of Phulwarisharif, Patna Sadar, Danapur, Bihta and Sampatchak circles was poor in cases of rejections pending for more than 63 days. While the well performing areas include Daniyawan, Bakhtiyarpur, Athmalgola, Khushruppur and Ghoswari. Among the poor performing zones, 2,591 cases are pending in Phulwari Sharif, 2,543 cases in Patna Sadar, 2,284 cases in Danapur, 2,217 cases in Bihta and 1,713 cases in Sampatchak.

DM reviewed

On Thursday, District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh reviewed the revenue matters of the district. During this, he took stock of the latest progress in various matters including e-mutation, scouring, land acquisition, land dispute resolution, removal of encroachment, demarcation, demarcation. During this, he directed the Zonal Officers of the poorly performing zones to settle all the cases as soon as possible.

Till April 27, 6,44,447 applications for rejections were executed

The District Magistrate found in the review that till April 27, 6,44,447 applications for rejections have been executed. This is 90.45 percent of the applications received. Whereas, from April 6 to April 27, the number of filed-dismissal claims received and executed in the entire district are 10,733 and 9,763 respectively. In this, from April 6, 2023 to April 27, Dhanrua, Belchhi, Mokama, Punpun and Barh have made good progress in the matter of rejection. Whereas Bihta, Bikram, Danapur, Sampatchak and Fatuha have performed poorly. During the review, the District Magistrate also directed to submit the report of cases pending for more than 75 days.

3,01,036 applications for rectification were disposed of

During the review, the District Magistrate also found that till April 27, 3,01,036 applications (95.49 per cent) of Parimarjan have been disposed of. In this, Bihta, Danapur, Sampatchak, Fatuha and Punpun are included in the poor performing areas. While Dulhinbazar, Athmalgola, Khushrupur, Daniyawan and Bikram have performed well. Along with this, Bihta, Danapur, Bakhtiyarpur, Punpun and Phulwarisharif zones have performed poorly in the execution of applications for correction from April 6 to April 27, while Patna Sadar, Sampatchak, Dhanrua, Mokama and Masodhi have performed well.

First in, first out execution instruction

The District Magistrate has asked all the officials to follow FIFO (First in, First out) in order to execute the rejected applications received on and after March 1, 2023. Along with this, under the Bihar Right to Public Service Act, 2011, the number of expired applications has also been directed to remain zero in any case.
