The body of Sepoy Sevak Singh, who lost his life in the Poonch terror attack, was brought to his native village in Talwandi Sabo sub-division of Bathinda. A crowd of people gathered to pay homage to the soldier.

The body of constable Harkishan Singh, who was martyred in the Poonch terror attack, was brought to his native village Gurdaspur. When the mortal remains of the martyr jawan reached his village, people flocked to have his last glimpse.

Terrorists attack army truck in Poonch, killing five soldiers
Significantly, after the terrorist attack in Poonch of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, April 20, five soldiers were martyred when an army vehicle caught fire. The army said in a statement that the soldiers who were martyred in the attack belonged to the Rashtriya Rifles unit and were deployed for anti-terrorist operations in the area. Taking advantage of heavy rain and low visibility, the terrorists fired at an army vehicle between Bhimber Gali and Poonch in Rajouri sector at 3 am, the army said.
