Security forces have launched a massive search operation in a forest in the Bata-Doria area after five soldiers were martyred in the terrorist attack in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir yesterday i.e. on Thursday. Officials said that the entire area has been cordoned off and the help of drones and sniffer dogs is being taken to find the terrorists. He informed that high alert has been declared in the border districts of Rajouri and Poonch and strict vigilance is being maintained along the Line of Control. Officials said that following the terrorist attack, traffic on Bhimber Gali-Poonch road has been stopped and people have been advised to go to Poonch via Mendhar.

NIA probe into terror attack: NIA will now investigate the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch. Let me tell you, in this attack, the terrorists had fired about 50 rounds. According to media reports, the bullets used by the terrorists were made in China. The responsibility of the terrorist attack has been taken by the Jaish-backed PAFF i.e. People’s Anti-Fascist Front. Let us tell you, in the Rajouri sector of Jammu and Kashmir, the army vehicle was passing through the highway between Bhimber Gali and Poonch, during which the terrorists first fired at the vehicle and then attacked it with a grenade.

Infiltration can happen through PoK: After the big terrorist attack in Poonch, PAFF has taken the responsibility of the attack. PAFF is a Jaish-backed terrorist organization. So far it has been revealed in the media reports that the conspiracy of the attack was hatched by Lashkar and Jaish. It is coming to the fore that these two terrorist organizations are the mastermind of the Poonch attack. Security agencies suspect that Pakistan is preparing for a major infiltration through PoK.

Significantly, the jawans who were martyred in the terrorist attack were the 16th Corps soldiers of the army stationed in Nagrota. Among the martyrs are the names of Havildar Mandeep Singh, Lance Naik Debasish Baswal, Lance Naik Kulwant Singh, Sepoy Harkrishna Singh and Sepoy Sevak Singh. At the same time, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha said that he is saddened by the martyrdom of the brave soldiers.
