Karan was first married to Anju six years ago. He has a five year old daughter Arya and one and a half year old son Ayush. The daughter-in-law is living in Lal Bagla, Kanpur and teaching her daughter in Sainik School. Remembering his son, father Babulal tells that he had come home in August on the festival of Rakshabandhan. Then Karan had talked about coming home in February. Everyone was waiting for his arrival. Although the son did not come, the news of his martyrdom definitely came. The entire family and city are proud of his sacrifice. He was our promising son.
