Gorakhpur. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave a big gift to the police department in Gorakhpur on Monday evening. State’s state-of-the-art Gorakhnath police station building near Gorakhnath temple has been inaugurated. The police station is the most hi-tech police station in the state. This police station equipped with hi-tech facilities is like a five star hotel. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the 29th police station AIIMS of Gorakhpur from the same police station premises.
Gorakhnath police station is built in 17 crore 10 lakh
The newly constructed administrative building of Gorakhnath police station looks like a temple of public service. This is the first multi-storey police station in the state which is centralized air-conditioned. In the inauguration program of the police station, Chief Minister Yogi inaugurated it in the presence of Gorakhpur Sadar MP Ravi Kishan along with senior police and administration officials. After this, he inspected the police station building and also took information about high technology. Gorakhnath police station has been built at a cost of 17 crore 10 lakh 94 thousand. Administrative building in this police station, Besant, apart from ground floor, up to three storeys is ready. Basement is for parking.

Female helpdesk, inquiry and reception room, SHO room, malkhana, male lockup, female lock up, armoury, office, interrogation room, female and male toilet block have been made on the ground floor. Female sub-inspector Kevin and Mel, female toilet block is located on the first floor. On the second floor there is a facility of kitchen, mail sub-inspector cabin, mail, female toilet block. AIIMS will be the 29th police station of the district
