Motihari. Motihari Police has got great success. Under the leadership of Areraj DSP, the police recovered the youth kidnapped for ransom safely within just 6 hours. In this case, the police have also arrested a criminal and are conducting raids to arrest other criminals involved in this incident. Aditya Raj, son of Veer Bahadur Pandey, resident of Bankatwa village of Pahadpur police station area, was abducted by miscreants from Matiaria of Harsiddhi police station area while going to Notihari. After the kidnapping, the miscreants had called the family members and demanded a ransom of Rs 3 lakh from them.
Kidnapper arrested near bus stand
After getting information about the incident, police came into action. On the instructions of SP, SIT was formed for the recovery of the kidnapped youth. Areraj DSP Ranjan Kumar told that Aditya Raj was going to Motihari with his cousin when he was kidnapped by criminals. Within six hours of the kidnapping incident, the police arrested a kidnapper along with the kidnapped youth from near Chhatauni bus stand.
The arrested criminal has a criminal history
At the same time, the car and two bikes used in the incident have also been seized. Vikas Kumar is said to be the mastermind behind this kidnapping incident. Two more persons, Karan and Chhotu, were also involved in this crime, for whose arrest the police team is conducting raids. The criminal caught by the police had a previous criminal history. The police is interrogating the arrested criminal. According to the police, many more cases are expected to be revealed during the investigation.
