Police has announced a reward of Rs 15,000 each on two outside anti-social elements who were disrupting the peace in Aligarh Muslim University. The name of the absconding accused is Adnan alias Golden, who is a resident of Ghaziabad and was living in Joharbagh of Civil Line police station in Aligarh. The second absconding accused is Zafar alias Hafiz, who is a resident of Tantanpara, Aligarh. Actually, on December 6, there was firing in the AMU campus, in which an MBBS student was injured. The accused who carried out this incident had fled from the spot, although the police is conducting raids in search of them. Police is also gathering information from acquaintances of the accused. Mehtab, one of the accused in the campus firing, has been arrested by the police while two other accused are still absconding. Aligarh Police has declared reward on these two accused. Information about this has been issued to all police stations. So that the accused can be caught soon.
There was firing in the campus after the dispute
There was a dispute between two student groups last Wednesday behind the Maulana Azad Library of Aligarh Muslim University. First there was a dispute between the two parties, then abuses and after that the matter escalated so much that firing started. According to eyewitnesses, several rounds were fired, due to which MBBS student Anika got injured by a bullet in her leg. The student is staying in SN Hostel and she is a resident of Bhamola area of Civil Lines police station.

Two students were successful in escaping in this incident. The names of the absconding accused are Golden and Zafar. Police has announced a reward of Rs 15,000 each on these two accused. Regarding the incident, SP City Mrigank Shekhar Pathak said that raids are being conducted to search for both the accused. Any person can give information about them. His name will be kept confidential. SSP Kala Nidhi Naithani has directed all the subordinates to take effective and aggressive action by tightening the noose against vicious, habitual, hardcore criminals.
