Police got success 11 days after the murder, body of former model Divya Pahuja found in a canal in Tohana.

The police have achieved great success in solving the mystery of the murder of former model Divya Pahuja. Subhash Boken, PRO Gurugram Police said on Saturday that the body of Divya Pahuja was found in a canal in Tohana, Haryana. NDRF was deployed to search for the body. The NDRF team, along with Gurugram and Punjab Police, was searching for the body in the canal from Patiala to Khanauri border. According to media reports, after removing the body from the canal, the police sent a photograph of it to Divya’s family members, after seeing which they identified the body.

Megha was arrested

Earlier on January 8, news had come that in the case of murder of former model Divya Pahuja, Gurugram Police has arrested the main accused and the second accomplice of hotel owner Abhijeet Singh, who is 20 years old. The arrested woman was identified as Megha of Mitraun Extension in Najafgarh, Delhi. It is alleged that Megha had allegedly helped Abhijeet in hiding the weapons, documents and personal belongings of Divya used in the crime after the murder.

Shot dead in room number 111

According to the information given by the police, on January 2, five people took Divya to Hotel City Point. He was allegedly shot dead in room number 111. Even after the incident, the body of the former model was not found, after which the police was busy searching for the body. The team involved in the investigation had said that the police suspect that the accused might have taken the body in a BMW car and thrown it in the Ghaggar river.

Police had said that five people allegedly took former model Divya Pahuja to the hotel and there they shot Pahuja in the head. Former model Divya was an accused in the case of death of a gangster in an alleged fake police encounter in Mumbai. He got bail only a few months ago. Pahuja was arrested about seven years ago in connection with the murder of gangster Sandeep Gadoli in a hotel in Mumbai on February 7, 2016.
