Darbhanga. In Taralahi village of Bahadurpur police station area of the district, miscreants fired several rounds on the police who went to arrest the gang of motorcycle thieves late on Tuesday night. However, there was no casualty in the firing. After the raid, the miscreants managed to escape by taking advantage of the darkness of the night. This has been confirmed by Darbhanga’s Senior Superintendent of Police Aakash Kumar. He said that during the police action, stones were first pelted, after which firing was done on behalf of the miscreants. The police fired in self-defense. The same SSP Avakash Kumar said that continuous action is being taken against the gang of motorcycle thieves in the district. In this sequence, information was received that members of the motorcycle thieves gang have gathered in Taralahi village of Bahadurpur police station area. After this a team was sent to Tarlahi. First there was a scuffle, in which the police also suffered minor injuries. Senior Superintendent of Police Avakash Kumar said that taking advantage of the darkness of the night, the miscreants managed to escape, but two miscreants have been arrested.
