Police alert on Delhi march, border sealed with barbed wire, this is the latest situation regarding the movement

Farmer Movement: The police is working on alert mode regarding the farmers’ movement. Yes, ever since the farmers have spoken about something in Delhi, the police has started making all the necessary preparations. Section 144 has been imposed in Jhajjar and barbed wire fencing and heavy iron and cement barricades have been installed on the Tikri border. Also, advisory has been issued in Rewari and all the officers have been asked to remain alert. At the same time, police are also keeping an eye on the situation in Gurugram and Nuh. Due to some announcement in Delhi, patrolling has been increased on KMP.

What is the demand of farmers?

It is being told that if needed, the traffic police in Gurugram can issue an order today so that the common people do not have to face problems. All these arrangements are being made regarding the farmers’ movement. Let us tell you that the farmers have announced to march to Delhi tomorrow for their pending demands like guarantee of MSP and implementation of the recommendations of the Swaminathan Commission. There is police alert in all the districts regarding this. It is being told that there are some districts where the police have not been alerted nor has any activity of farmers been seen.

Call for march on 13th February

The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and farmer unions mostly from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab have sought to put pressure on the Center to accept their demands, including making a law to guarantee minimum support price (MSP) for crops. A call has been given to take out a march on 13th February. As per the advisory, traffic restrictions will be imposed for commercial vehicles from Monday.

Traffic restrictions/diversion for vehicles implemented

The advisory said that traffic restrictions/diversion will be implemented at Singhu border for commercial vehicles from Monday and for all types of vehicles from Tuesday. As per the advisory, interstate buses going towards Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal etc. via NH-44 will go from ISBT to Majnu Ka Tila, Signature Bridge to Khajuri Chowk, Loni Border to KMP via Khekra.
