PM Modi will come to Jharkhand on November 15, will start Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra from Khunti, know its purpose

Ranchi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ from Ulihatu in Khunti on November 15. This journey will start from Khunti on the birth anniversary of ‘Lord Birsa Munda’ and ‘Tribal Pride Day’. Information and Broadcasting Secretary Apoorva Chandra, in an informal conversation with journalists in Delhi, said that vehicles promoting government schemes will be sent to 2.55 lakh gram panchayats and about 18,000 places in urban areas.

At the same time, this yatra will be started after the model code of conduct is lifted in five election states. Shri Chandra said that ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ is completely a government program and it would be wrong to link it with political motives. He said that the yatra will conclude on January 25, on the eve of Republic Day. There are also plans to hold a question-answer session with the Prime Minister through video conferencing during the visit.

He said that the aim of this campaign is to reach out to those vulnerable people who are eligible for benefits under various government schemes, but have not received them till now. There will be mention about various government schemes like Kisan Credit Card, Gramin Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, PM Swanidhi Yojana on the ICC van. More than 2500 vans and more than 200 mobile theater vans will be used for this work.

The President had gone to Ulihatu last year:

15th November is the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda and also the foundation day of Jharkhand. Since it is the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa, the Central Government celebrates this day as ‘Tribal Pride Day’ at the national level. Last year, on the same occasion, President Draupadi Murmu had gone to Ulihatu and paid homage to the statue of Lord Birsa Munda.

Took stock of preparations for Tribal Pride Day: Kapoor

Joint Secretary Dr Navaljeet Kapoor, while talking to ‘BollywoodWallah’, said that some program has to be organized on ‘Tribal Pride Day’ i.e. 15th November. But what will happen this time is not decided yet. Visited the park. The programs of Tribal Pride Day were also discussed with the Chief Secretary. Regarding the Prime Minister’s visit, Mr. Kapoor said that we have to see that the same day is the foundation day of Jharkhand state. The state government also has a program. Therefore, a program will be decided only after considering all the things.

Joint Secretary visited Ranchi

It is reported that on November 15, PM Modi can also visit Ulihatu in Khunti and Birsa Munda Memorial Park cum Museum in the old jail complex in Ranchi. The PMO will give information regarding the PM’s visit to the state government in the next few days. On Thursday, Dr Navaljit Kapoor, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, inspected the site of Birsa Munda Smriti Park in Ranchi. He also met Chief Secretary Sukhedav Singh. Mr Kapoor also held a meeting with Welfare Department Principal Secretary Rajeev Arun Ekka and Tribal Welfare Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha. He went to Birsa Munda Smriti Park along with Mr. Jha.
