PM Modi Mathura Visit: 14-day Braj Raj Utsav celebrated in Mathura

Mathura. The 14-day Braj Raj Utsav started with colorful programs from Tuesday, 14 November. A confluence of culture, art and crafts of Braj can be seen in Brajraj Utsav. Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad, Tourism Department, Culture Department and District Administration had completed preparations for this festival. And this festival was inaugurated by MP Hema Malini and Cabinet Minister Chaudhary Lakshmi Narayan. Brajraj Utsav is being organized from 14th to 17th at the Railway Ground located in Dholi Pyau area of ​​Mathura. In which memorable programs of artists having local and national identity are being organized since the first day. This year the festival has been given a bigger form. In which the Ministry of Culture, Government of India is the main partner. Besides, participation of local craftsmen is also being organized by the Handicrafts Department. Many small and big artists are presenting their programs in Brajraj Utsav. In which big artists like Ishita Vishwakarma, Punit Issar, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Malini Awasthi, Anuradha Paudwal will also be included. About 800 artists will present programs like folk music, song staging etc. of Braj in different groups from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

All these artists will enliven the culture and art of Braj. The old style of Braj, Dhola, Ranjha, Lavni, Jikdi Bhajan, Algoja, Nautanki, folk songs, Leela of Shri Krishna and Radha, Peacock dance, Charkula dance, Holi of flowers etc. should be organized on different days and in different stages and fair grounds. Will go. Under the Brajraj Utsav, grand decorations have been done to make the railway ground fair venue attractive. Many types of swings have been installed for children. The audience is also enjoying the taste of food. Handicraft stall is also set up. Under the World Bank’s Pro Poor Tourism Scheme, artisan women will make God’s attire, kanthi garlands etc. and sell them there. As part of Brajraj Utsav, on November 23, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present to watch the theatrical art based on Saint Mirabai by Hema Malini.
