PM Modi in Gujarat: PM Modi will participate in Vibrant Gujarat Summit, will give a gift of Rs 4500 crore

PM Modi Gujarat Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in a program in Ahmedabad today i.e. on Wednesday on the occasion of completion of 20 years of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. Prime Minister Modi, who is on a two-day visit to Gujarat on Tuesday, will also launch projects worth Rs 4500 crore related to the education sector and address a public meeting in Bodeli town of tribal-dominated Chhota Udaipur district. According to a release, PM Modi, while being the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2003, had started the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, the objective of which was to make the state a leader on the global map of industry and trade.

The release said that the 10th edition of ‘Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit’ on the theme ‘Gateway to the Future’ will be organized in Gandhinagar from January 10 to 12 next year. Primary and Secondary Education Secretary Vinod Rao said that before addressing a gathering in Bodeli, the Prime Minister will inaugurate or lay the foundation stone of various projects under the ‘Mission Schools of Excellence’ initiative of the state government.

The Prime Minister had launched the Gujarat government’s ‘Mission School of Excellence’ initiative in October last year in Adalaj town of Gandhinagar district. PM Modi had launched this mission with the aim of establishing new classrooms, smart classrooms, computer laboratories and strengthening the education infrastructure.

PM Modi will launch many new schemes

Vinod Rao said that on this occasion the Prime Minister will also launch many new schemes related to the education sector in the state, which include Swami Vivekananda Gyan Shakti Residential School, Raksha Shakti Vidyalaya, Chief Minister Gyan Setu Scholarship and Chief Minister Gyan Sadhana Scholarship. Later, Prime Minister Modi will be honored at a program organized by the women’s wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Vadodara in connection with the passing of the Women’s Reservation Bill in Parliament.
