Prime Minister Narendra Modi Discussed tea with French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday. Both the leaders went to a tea shop in Jaipur and talked to each other while drinking tea. After drinking tea, French President Emmanuel Macron also made UPI payment.

Prime Minister Modi did a road show with French President Macron in Jaipur.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron conducted a road show from Jantar Mantar located in the park to Sanganeri Gate. A large number of people gathered in the road show. During the road show, Prime Minister Modi and President Macron were riding in an open-top vehicle. Both the leaders accepted the greetings of the people standing on both sides of the road. At many places, Macron was seen saying ‘Namaste’ with folded hands while accepting people’s greetings. People also raised slogans of ‘Modi Modi’. Flowers were showered on him at many places.

PM Modi gifts model of Ram temple to French President Macron
After the road show ended, PM Modi and the French President went to a shop selling local artefacts and handicraft products. There, Prime Minister Modi gifted a replica of the newly built Ram temple in Ayodhya to President Macron. Prime Minister Modi also told him about the ‘BHIM UPI’ scanner kept there.

Macron chief guest of Republic Day celebrations
French President Emmanuel Macron is the chief guest at the Republic Day celebrations to be held in Delhi on 26 January. PM Modi warmly welcomed Macron in Jaipur. Prime Minister Modi and President Macron shook hands and hugged each other. After this, both the leaders visited the historical Jantar Mantar and learned about it.
