Varanasi: PM Modi on Monday participated in the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Barki village of Sewapuri assembly of Varanasi. Be it a guest of G-20 or any guest coming to Banaras, when he praises the people of Banaras, I too feel proud.
He said that whatever service I can do for Mahadev in Kashi, it seems less to me. When Kashi develops, UP develops. If UP develops, the country develops. Even today, with the same spirit, the foundation stone of development works worth Rs 20,000 crore has been laid and inaugurated. Be it supply of drinking water in the villages of Banaras, critical care unit in BHU Trauma Centre, projects related to many sectors like road, electricity, Ganga Ghat, railway, airport, solar energy and petroleum, these will further accelerate the pace of development of this area.
